My interest today is in finding out whether people get together from this site. there are so many fine men and beautiful women here saying the same things. They want to meet someone with whom they can share their lives, get married, hang out, have a pen pal, or just have sex, whatever they want. There seems to be very little conversation in the blogs and forums but what I do read is lamentations about there not being any connections made. So, tell me, are there people out here who actually do get together for whatever they find to be mutually agreeable and satisfying? Give me your thoughts.

I joined the site as a gay man. But when I do search matches. It brings up a large number of straight men. I think there's maybe 20 men in Minnesota I can pick from. I feel misled.

Wow, it's pretty saddening to hear today that people don't think this site is worth paying for when I just paid for a month this morning! Well, we'll see how it goes. Like they say, it only takes meeting one "right" person. It's been some years since I have met anyone through the personals, but that is how I met some very special people in my life, so I'll stay optimistic -- and even if I don't meet anyone special, hopefully the money went into well-deserved hands. I think it is very nice that they allow people who have not paid to answer emails on this site. Not all sites do that, and it is very generous.

yeah as some one use to be on ths site alot in the past . It really has slowed in traffic wise. one problem in the past there were a select group of folks who were scammers who made life on the web site upsetting.There were also others who thought their poo did not stink and were down right ruthless if some said the least negatiave comment about them.Al so as Amuse me said the staff I feel drove off a lot of the actice bloggers .

Hey there, im just very new to this site and just thaught id put my worth in. I use another site and this one, although Ive been sort of successfull, Ive made some pretty good contacts that seem to stay around, some ive deleted, refused, handed one back his Karma, if i didnt love my country, id be off around the world and if some had their way converted LOL.I generally think its a mix of online dating, knowing what you want and just getting out socially. All sites have their slowtimes and high times and in my country most bbw/ssbbw people seem to be onthe samesites hope this was relevant

But so many people feel the same way DQBOMD feels. So, if the site isn't meeting basic expectations for most people, what makes someone decide to spend money to upgrade their account?

I have met a few really great ladies on a different site, some have worked out, some not and it's not a bad thing, we will never match with everyone. I think the thing is, there are so many men on the sites that are after only one thing and are not looking for a relationship. So things become very ugly when a lady wants to be a lady and not just a one night stand. Believe me, there are a few of us out there that wants a freindship and possibly a relationship. The many creeps out there hurt the chances of the few gentleman that are on the site, we kind of get bundled into one big group. Thats my two cents for what it's worth.

I don't know, but if the freebies aren't really satisfactory, I can't imagine the upgrades will be worth paying for. You are probably right,LF should encourage blogging; that would generate interest and get people communicating and wanting to upgrade so they can make even greater connections.

A few years ago I was super active on this site, talked to some real creepers I might add. Traveled some miles too.. ultimately wound up in a two year relationship with a man that I didn't meet on a dating website so kinda stopped blogging here. Not really interested in coming here anymore "looking" for something.. but to answer your question, yes, people meet, at least, they used to. LF should have paid us regulars to blog here, the hook-ups weren't worth staying around. lol
